Statistics: Russia’s industrial output rises 3.9% on year in July
MOSCOW, Aug 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial output rose 3.9% on the year and fell 0.3% on the month in July after rising 2.2% and falling 0.2% in June, respectively, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Excluding seasonal and calendar factors, industrial output went up 0.3% in July after a 0.5% contraction in June, the service said.
In January–July, industrial output grew 3.1% on the year.
The Economic Development Ministry expects industrial output in Russia to rise 2.5% in 2018.
